Involvement and Inclusion
The inclusion of information on Art in Context is contingent upon awareness, involvement, and support of the library's programming and services. Art in Context reflects the diverse cultural perspectives of hundreds of international registrants who use the library to contextualize and disseminate information. Through this involvement thousands of new pages are added each month. Newly registered information is catalogued and posted in daily site updates. In addition, the library provides access to previously catalogued information to assist those interested in selected biographical, as well as current, information about artists and where to find their work.
Project support from the New York State Council on the Arts and other sponsors helps expand our programming and increases access to information about the fine arts. For more information about sponsoring a specific locale, project, artist, museum or gallery-dealer please contact us.
