Information and Assistance

The library's facilities are maintained by a staff dedicated to assisting those interested in distributing and retrieving information about artists and where to find their work.

To help visitors locate, learn about and discover new work each registered image included is catalogued and accessible through the main image index. Selected examples may be accessed by discipline, e.g., painting, sculpture, drawing, photography or prints, as well as according to period, term, and nationality, e.g., 19th Century, Japanese, Contemporary and Landscape. In addition, all images are cross-referenced and accessible from the artist, affiliated gallery-dealer and museum Reference Pages, and associated exhibition listings where registered affiliations and contact information is posted. The library provides direct contact information, as provided by each registrant, to assist those interested in public access to exhibitions and collections, the availability and current price of original work, catalogues, biographies and more.
