To celebrate their move from the Soho area to Chelsea, the Noho Gallery  opens with an inaugural exhibition of small works in a variety of media  by artist members. The primary focus of Noho, since its founding in  1975, has been to exhibit art works of high quality in all media,  diverse in style and content. As a direct result of that guiding  philosophy, Noho stands as one of the oldest and most respected  artist-led galleries in New York.

This exhibition includes paintings, drawings, sculpture, fiber art,  mixed media, collage, photography and prints.  Works by many of these  artists are represented in important museum, corporate and private  collections, such as the Zimmerli Art Museum, The Museum of the City of  New York, The American Craft Museum, The Newark Museum, Montclair  Museum, IBM, Kaiser Permanente, Lucent Technologies, Pepsico, Pfizer,  Avaya Communications, International Paper,  Chubb Insurance,  Shearson  Lehman,  Readers Digest, and  the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

The artists are Edgar Barbosa, Rebecca Cooperman, David Deutsch, Sharon  Florin, Diana Freedman-Shea, Lynne Friedman, Jessica Fromm, Sheila  Hecht, Marilyn Henrion, Frances Jacobson, Mark Jacobson, Amarillis  Kroon, Bruce Laird, Hyeon-Seok Lee, Daniele Marin, Dianne Martin, Pat  Feeney Murrell, Akiko Naomura, Siena Porta, Stephanie Rauschenbusch,  Jacques Simons, Zarvin Swerbilov, Hester Welish, Erma Martin Yost, Leon  Yost, and Judy Zeichner.
