Small Works Invitational 2006: Works on Paper

August 1 through 19, Blue Mountain Gallery will present work by more than 50 emerging and established artists in an exhibition of small works on paper. Blue Mountain has been committed to Annual Small Works Invitationals since 1994. This format has given the gallery the opportunity to show works by a broad range of guest artists, selected by invitation by our gallery artists.
These exhibitions have always been popular, bringing new guests into the gallery, and a new feast for the eyes of regular attendees. This year, over one hundred works on paper in various media will be on view, all no larger than 12 inches by 12 inches. Media will include drawings, paintings, collages, prints and photographs. The works vary in imagery from the abstract to the political, tightly painted to energetically expressive. The exhibition will be hung in the salon style made popular at the end of the 19th century.
Blue Mountain is located at 530 West 25th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues, on the fourth floor.
