Reflections in a Glass Eye: Works from the International Center of Photography Collection is the first large-scale installation of photographs from ICP's permanent collection.
This exhibition will present works by a wide range of international photojournalists, artists, commercial photographers, and amateurs throughout the history of the medium. Robert Capa, Cornell Capa, Weegee, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Horst P. Horst, Doris Ullmann, Cindy Sherman, Edward Weston, Helen Levitt, Andres Serrano, Berenice Abbott, Bruce Davidson, Larry Clark, and Graciela Iturbide are among the photographers included. The exhibition celebrates the depth and diversity of ICP's collection and of the photographic medium, through a selection of works ranging from the very familiar to the wholly unexpected.
